ALCC
BARBEQUE
On
July 19th, 2006, Superior sponsored the annual barbeque
for the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado
(ALCC). It was a time to reconnect with friends in the
industry, share new ideas and meet great people. Sponsoring
this event was the least we could do to support an association
that does so much for its members. By staying active
in the ALCC we hope to ensure the continued growth and
quality of our industry. |

JAKE PLUMMER CHARITY EVENT
Superior Landscape was proud
to be a part of the "Jake Plummer Savor The Grape
for Charity" event
on September 18th at Morton’s Steakhouse. The
fundraiser was in support of Family Tree and to benefit
patients in the early stages of Alzheimer’s.
Superior was truly humbled by the generosity demonstrated
by many of the guests that evening as the winning bid
for our donated water feature was awarded at $10,000.
The whole experience was wonderful and giving back
to our community is something we should all be actively
engaged in. Check back in spring of 2007 for pictures
and updates on the progress of this labor of love.

INVESCO
FIELD TOUR
In November 2006, the design team attended a site tour of
Invesco Field at Mile High. Ross Kurcab, the turf manager
at Invesco, discussed the architecture of the playing field
and specifications for the drainage, soil preparation, irrigation,
in ground heating system and turf grass. Sports field construction
requires precise engineering with laser-guided equipment
and advanced construction techniques that can be implemented
in both residential and commercial applications.

2006 GARDEN AND HOME SHOW

The Garden and Home
Show took place Feb.11-19th
at the Colorado Convention Center.
Our booth featured a buff
strip stone wall, a fire
feature, landscape lighting and a colorful plant
display. Many of our projects were displayed along
with a series of colorful landscape designs.
It was great to see many of our clients at our booth.
